Students who cannot attend the Pre-Conference Awards Dinner and Gala on Thursday, can register for the Indian Law Conference on Friday $40.

By registering for the Conference, attendees will also be registered as CILA members from October 2020-October 2021.

Please join the California Indian Law Association this Friday, September 26th, for a California Indian-specific webinar on determining the Indian status of a child as it pertains to ICWA. Hon. Christine Williams, Chief Judge for the Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians and President of the California Indian Law Association, will walk attendees through the recently decided In Re Abbigail A, and how the varying definitions of “Indian child” are now to be interpreted in California.
