Free MCLE Credits For CILA Members

In addition to earning MCLE credit at our Annual Indian Law Conference, CILA members may earn free MCLE credit by taking the self-study offering below.  This Self-Assessment test has been certified for 1.5 MCLE credits through the California State Bar. It is based on the CILA Newsletter article Jeffredo v. Macarro: The Ninth Circuit’s Latest Word on Disenrollment Disputes.  This MCLE opportunity is provided for free as a courtesy to CILA members.
Options:
  1. CILA Members:  Proceed to the Self-Assessment MCLE Instructions below.
  2. Non-Members:  If you wish to join CILA, please complete your registration here.  Once registered, you can complete the MCLE for free.  If you do not wish to join, you may complete this MCLE offering and obtain 1.5 MCLE credit by returning a $20 fee along with your completed answer sheet as described below.

Self-Assessment MCLE Instructions

Step 1.  After reading these instructions, download a PDF copy of the reading material at this link: 2010 newsletter.

Step 2.  Read the CILA Newsletter article titled Jeffredo v. Macarro: The Ninth Circuit’s Latest Word on Disenrollment Disputes and the Ninth Circuit’s written opinion in Jeffredo v. Macarro to prepare for the test.  For a more in-depth analysis, obtain a copy of the case  decision through your legal publication provider. 

Step 3.  After reading the article, click here to download the test. Then complete the test and record your answers.

Step 4.  Submit and return you recorded answers via email to christine@williamsjd.com.  Please return within seven days from download.  Answers may be within the body of your email or may be in an attached document.
